"What don't I love about pilates? I enjoy increased awareness of my body, as well as a greater understanding of how everything works together. I love the "whole body" approach,  Also, your approach and teaching style is amazing. Gentle, supportive, yet firm and effective. We make good progress and I've noticed huge changes in my body. I can't recommend pilates enough!"

Mat Class Schedule and Pricing

Mat classes are a group class setting where the majority of exercises are on the ground with the use of our cushy Airex mats. These classes focus on core stabilization and primarily work to strengthen the muscles of the trunk. Due to the detailed nature of Pilates we limit our class size to five participants, to give greater individual attention. Mat classes give less assistance in exercises than equipment can. To aid or add more challenge to mat exercises we have a variety of small equipment for the use of the class, such as: BOSUs, Foam Rollers, bands, wedges, toning balls, and fitness circles.

Class Descriptions:
Scapulae stabilization with Toning ballsPilates Mat
A mat based class that can use small equipment such as BOSUs, Weighted Toning Balls, Therabands, and Fitness Circles to aid or challenge the client.

Level I
Exercises taught in these classes are at an essential level. A solid foundation in the basic principles is required.

Level II
Exercises taught in these classes are at an intermediate level and will add challenge to the essential level exercises.

Back Care Mat
A class that focuses on stabilizing the spine in a neutral position to help those with back issues such as osteo-arthritis, bulging discs, spinal stenosis, scoliosis, etc.

Balance
Have you noticed that your balance isn't what it used to be? Does the idea of walking around in the dark, let's say to use the restroom in the middle of night, makes you feel a little uncomfortable? Many of us have these concerns. This class is designed to work on your balance for the primary purpose to prevent falls.

Balance classes that are 30 minutes in length. Our class maximum is 10. Classes are $8/class when you purchase for the whole series or $10 for a drop-in. Be there!

Pilates for New Parents
Parenthood comes with a lot of new challenges and a common one is to get good strength building exercises while making sure your child is being well cared for. In this class we invite you to bring your precious bundles with you. The only requirement is that your babies are non-mobile. This class focuses on great core stabilization as well as the other parts of the body that take the most abuse, such as upper back and shoulder girdle. Just like the other mat classes we will use our variety of small equipment.
