Pilates Instructor
Honest Movement Pilates is looking for
mature, motivated, and positive instructors. Candidates should be
comfortable teaching at all levels and to clients with various body
issues. All Pilates instructors are hired as independent contractors.
Candidates must have:
- STOTT PILATES training in Mat and
Reformer and on their way to Cadillac, Chair, and Barrels and Injury
and Special Populations training
- A ‘willing to learn attitude’, a
good understanding of anatomy and proper biomechanics, in addition
to the many modifications of exercises
- At least one year of experience
teaching Pilates privates and group classes
- An understanding and comfort of
email communication and Microsoft (MS) Excel.
Instructor responsibilities:
- Teaching Pilates privates, duets,
and group classes to clients at all different levels and varied body
issues
- To be responsible for planning
programming for clients and classes, document client progress,
studio upkeep, and maintaining the values and goals of the studio
- Excellent customer service
- Honest, respectful, and effective
communication skills
- Monthly instructor meetings
- Learning and using MindBody Online
scheduling software and accepting payment
- Submitting invoices in MS Excel
and use of emailing software
- Continuing education credits that
